NRLA recently partnered with the Business Council of New York to promote their “Enough Already” grassroots campaign for lower taxes, smaller government, and economic and job growth in New York State. Similar to our partnership with the Main Street Small Business Council, we are hoping our association with Enough Already can give NRLA members a voice in advocating for smarter, more effective government that promotes a vigorous business climate in New York. Enough Already recently unveiled its “5 to Survive” list of five reform goals for state government:

• Cap property taxes;
• Cap state spending;
• Reduce the tax burden;
• Reform public employee pensions; and
• Limit government borrowing.

NRLA supports these reforms and invites members to visit the Enough Already website at www.EnoughAlreadyNY.org and share their stories on the challenges of keeping their businesses profitable in New York.
