The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the New England region is divided into two regions. EPA / Region 1 New England serves Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. They are located at One Congress Street, Boston, MA 02114 and can be contacted at 888.372.7341 or online at www.epa.gov/region01/


The states of New York and New Jersey are served by the EPA / Region 2 office located at 290 Broadway, New York, NY. The contact number is 212.637.3000 or you can visit this Web site at www.epa.gov/region02/
This site provides information on air, water, and waste programs targeted to your area along with issues and initiatives that may affect your business or home. Compliance advice and assistance programs are offered to New England's businesses as well.

EPA's top news stories and press releases, which include proposed penalties and fines for non-compliance of EPA regulations, are updated regularly. Both regions' Web site accepts questions and comments, via e-mail, for your convenience.
