The Lumber Co-operator Museum has been created by the staff of the official publication of the NRLA as a living archive of the lumber and building material industry in the Northeast. With a publishing history that spans 90 years, every attempt will be made to capture the essence of what was going on in each year of the industry from 1917 to the present. As the saying goes: The more things change; the more they stay the same. This is certainly true of our industry’s history, as concerns about the market and the importance of customer service was noted as early as The Lumber Co-operator’s first year of existence.
The Lumber Co-operator Museum will be updated on a regular basis, so please come back and visit and browse as long as you like. If there is something you’d like to see in the Museum, please contact NRLA at 800.292.6752 and we will do our best to find it and put it on display.
