Curtis Lumber Announces Leadership Promotions
BALLSTON SPA — Curtis Lumber has announced corporate management realignment and promotions for its Senior Leadership Team. The change in structure has elevated 6th generation family member Kylie (Curtis) Holland to the position of Director of Organizational Development overseeing the company’s Human Resources, Training and Employee Development initiatives.
“I’m very excited for Kylie to take on a stronger role within the Curtis Lumber organization, ensuring that the business will continue to be family owned and locally operated for another generation,” reflected Jay Curtis, owner and President of Ballston Spa, N.Y. based Curtis Lumber.
Also included in the restructure is a transition to three Vice President roles as the current Vice President of Sales and Operations, Jon Hallgren, moves to an Executive Vice President position pending his retirement in early 2018. These three roles will now be filled by Liz Irish, Vice President of Information Services, Doug Ford, Vice President of Sales and Purchasing, and Rich Keating, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
This alignment has been implemented immediately in order to support Curtis Lumber Company’s growing sales in its 21 store locations. As a rapidly growing, regional building materials supplier and retailer to residential customers, contractors, and commercial businesses, this restructure will better support our customers.
