Manufacturers Reserve Supply Now Offers Grayne™ Engineered Composite Shingles
Building material supplier expands siding selection with first addition of PVC alternative
Manufacturers Reserve Supply (MRS), premier wholesale building materials distributor to lumber yards, specialty dealers and home centers, today announced the addition of Grayne Engineered Shingles to their roster of siding options. Dedicated to offering customers best-in-class building materials, MRS recognizes the value Grayne provides as natural cedar replacement, making it easier than ever to achieve an authentic cedar wood look - without the maintenance.
Available in 5" White Cedar and 7.5" Red Cedar composite shingles, and in multiple pre-finished color variations, Grayne features true-to-life graining patterns and a high-performance, moisture and weather-resistant surface. This ensures the highest durability and lowest upkeep for beauty that withstands time, and the elements. And to capture cedar’s exact on-house aesthetics, Grayne can be installed in the same layout as cedar shingles with no keyway stacks thanks to its patent-pending, dual-offset installation method.
“We are excited to partner with The Tapco Group on their Grayne product line” says Brian Boyd, General Manager of MRS. “With the addition of Grayne’s line of revolutionary engineered shingles, we will now stock over 100 SKUs of shingles and shakes. Until this point our siding offering has only been wood, so we are excited to expand into a quality composite product.”
MRS seeks to distribute materials upon which relationships may be built. At Grayne, an extension of The Tapco Group, maintaining relationships with customers and vendors is part of its long-standing history of high-performance products and outstanding service.
“We are looking forward to a successful partnership with MRS” said Jeff Relken, Regional Business Manager for the Mid-Atlantic. “MRS is a clear market leader in channel education and value added customer service. Both of these attributes will greatly benefit the launch of Grayne and generating sales with both new and existing customers.”
