Record-Breaking Year Propels Dude Solutions Forward in 2019
Dude Solutions reflects on a monumental year that includes a strategic rebranding initiative, launching a new product suite and adding competitive employee benefits. With this momentum driving the company forward, Dude Solutions is on pace for 20% growth in 2019 by investing in initiatives specific to people, product and innovation.
In the last 12 months, Dude Solutions launched an elevated brand strategy that reinforces its mission while modernizing the iconic Dude logo. The company also acquired Poulsbo, Washington-based Paladin Data Systems to establish West Coast headquarters and introduce its first suite of community development software for local government. Additionally, Dude Solutions established an office in Grand Junction, Colorado to focus specifically on their energy management solutions.
“I look back at 2018 impressed by the success Dude Nation collectively achieved. We ended the year with our greatest achievement yet: surpassing $100 million in annual revenue, a rare accomplishment for SaaS companies,” said Ed Roshitsh, CEO of Dude Solutions. “Over 12,000 organizations rely on our software and we’re on track to add an additional 2,000 clients to our roster in 2019. Not only are we growing at an impressive pace, we’re thriving.”
On the product and innovation front, Dude Solutions has a cutting-edge event management suite, a new space management module for healthcare organizations and breakthrough interval data recording capabilities for real-time energy conservation on the horizon. Dude Labs, a team solely committed to innovation, formed last year and is already testing revolutionary ways for clients to input facility data into our software.
The company’s annual user conference, Dude University, will return to Raleigh, North Carolina May 5-8 and is projected to host a record-breaking 1,200 attendees. The conference brings together facility managers and operations professionals across North America for training, sharing best practices and networking.
“In addition to supporting clients and prioritizing innovation, we’re investing in our employees by building a world-class benefits package. We want Dude Nation to feel empowered to maintain a work-life balance that supports both their personal and professional goals,” said Roshitsh. “Last year we launched a flexible work from home program that allows employees to work virtually from anywhere. For 2019, we introduced unlimited paid time off for all employees and are proud to offer three months paid maternity and paternity leave.”
Dude Solutions celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The company has come a long way since its start as SchoolDude in 1999, reaching a record 650 total employees across the United States and Canada last year. This growth is expected to continue as the company is poised to hire another 125 Dudes in 2019.
