Winter Storm Restrictions in Place

With much of the NRLA's territory being hammered by a winter storm we wanted to share some road restrictions that are coming in from our Northeastern States.


Highways are open. But state officials are urging people to stay off the roads.


Winter storm warning and blizzard warning. Roads are open, but speed limits lowered. More accidents 


As of 8:00 a.m. the Massachusetts Turnpike has restricted all specially permitted vehicles until further notice.

New Hampshire

Winter storm warning and blizzard warning in effect. Roads are open, but speed limits are lowered. Multiple crashes. 

New York

A speed restriction of 35 mph is in place on the Tappan Zee Bridge in both directions due to high winds.

Rhode Island

As of 12:00 p.m. Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo has closed all Rhode Island roads to commercial vehicle traffic. The ban is expected to remain in place through 9:00 p.m. tonight.
